1970 Maserati Ghibli Spyder 4.7 - French - Superb colour configuration - Carefully maintained - Expertised
This Maserati Ghibli Spyder (chassis #AM115S*1221) was delivered new in January 1970. It was one of only 100 factory 4.7 Spyders built by Maserati at the time.
This Ghibli Spyder is a European series and comes in a superb colour configuration - black paint with… beige leather interior - The soft top is in good condition, as are the carpets and all the on-board instruments.
The car is structurally sound, the underpinnings are free from corrosion or deformation and the body panels are well aligned. The car is in very good overall condition, proof of a quality restoration (bodywork #10354).
The engine number recorded is #AM115*1221 and it works well: easy to start, no overheating and exemplary handling.
The car has been carefully looked after and some work has recently been carried out (invoice file):
- Fitting of an electronic ignition and new spark plug wires,
- New spark plugs,
- 4 new Borrani rims,
- New fuel pump,
- Complete electrical circuit (dashboard removed),
- Revised headlight raising mechanism,
- Engine and gearbox drained,
- New suspension (shock absorbers and springs),
This Ghibli Spyder is driven regularly and has just returned from a recent rally. Carefully maintained, it was recently appraised by a model specialist. A CT will be carried out for the sale.
